100% of Honda civic in Japan is going to be “Hybrid”

In Japan Honda Civic is one of the most popular car models, thus their plan is to change from the normal civic to hybrid civic. Honda will only manufacture hybrid civic starting in 2011. Moreover, Honda had planned to build a smaller car and vehicle using the clean diesel technology.

By 2013, Honda says that they will have as many as hybrid models in its domestic and international market. Not only the hybrid civic but also the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle will be introduced in the same year.

Hybrid technology appears to be one of most intriguing innovation for Honda. They start to phase out the older technologies and focus on hybrid engine. Honda hopes that an increased manufacturing of car batteries will allow their scale. If all goes well, hybrid civic would cost the same or even less than those that use the older technology.

In my opinion, global warming is one of the most danger problems we encountered. It causes many disasters, such as the higher in temperature, flooding and earthquake. Carbon dioxide is one of the factors causing the global warming. Carbon dioxide mostly produced by the vehicle, changing all of the car into hybrid engine would cause the reduction in carbon dioxide. It would reduce the carbon dioxide produced by vehicles; therefore using hybrid car would be one of the choices to save our world.
